Supporting Students and Families During Significant Educational Milestones
A cancer diagnosis impacts the entire household. When a parent undergoes active cancer treatment, the resulting financial and emotional strain often makes it challenging for families to celebrate significant life milestones.
Established in honor of Horace N. Glover Sr., this scholarship aims to alleviate the financial barriers associated with high school graduation. It provides financial assistance for mandatory graduation fees, cap and gown expenses, and other essential costs for high school seniors whose parents are currently receiving cancer treatment.
With the support of community partners and donors, the scholarship extends beyond graduation fees. Subject to availability and contributions, students may also receive community-sponsored gifts, including:
By easing these financial burdens, we aim to give parents peace of mind and help students participate in graduation milestones with confidence and pride.

Valentine's Day is a celebration of love, and with the support of our community, we transform this day into a powerful message of hope for those battling cancer. We know the road to recovery can be long, but no one should walk it alone. To help nourish the body and lift the spirit, we deliver care packages filled with nourishing groceries, paired with a heartfelt side of flowers and chocolate to remind every fighter that they are loved, valued, and supported every step of the way.
